Rule by rule

Article Abstract:

United States Golf Association's rule number 22 tells a golfer how to proceed when a ball can either help or hurt another player. Under the rule, a player is entitled to have any other ball which they think may interfere in their play lifted, as well as the right to lift their own ball if they think it might assist someone else. This may be done at any point during play on the course except while another ball is in motion.
