Science of the weight shift

Article Abstract:

A computer analysis of golf swings executed by amateurs and pros reveals differences in weight shift dynamics. During the backswing pros averaged 84% of their weight onto their right foot, while amateurs shifted only 65%. Proper torso rotation appears to be the key to weight shift technique.

The headcover solution

Golfers who have power but lack control can correct some common faults with a few simple drills using a headcover, a five iron and range balls. Instructions for four drills are presented.
