Physical activity and health: introduction to the dose-response symposium

Article Abstract:

This article presents the processes used to develop a consensus statement during a symposium on dose-response relationships in exercise, or the amount of exercise needed to obtain health benefits. A panel of scientists from several disciplines critically examined current research on physical activity and health and identified areas for future research.
