Shimano STX mountain bike components

The new Shimano STX Special Edition mountain bicycle component system performs well and would be a good system for a moderately priced bike. One of its best features is the Rapid Fire Shifters that displays the gear a biker is using. The brakes were only adequate.

Article Abstract:
Four new types of wireless cyclo computers are available on the market that do not interfere with the bike's suspension and are easily mounted. An evaluation of four such computers found the Vetta C500 and the Act C-2 to be the best models.
