Grown children who do not have health insurance, even if they have left home, can pose a serious threat to their parents' savings, because the parents probably will pay the bills in case of illness or injury. Temporary, university, and major medical policies are discussed.

Should the FDA approve the home HIV test?

Approval of an HIV home-test/results-by-phone kit are being debated. Those who oppose approval point out the possible trauma of hearing such news over the phone, while those who support approval stress that most people who are at high risk are not presently being tested.
