Fishermen and seafarers must acknowledge that the number and quality of fishes in the seas have been declining. Commercial and recreational fishermen are blaming each other. Government legislation is needed because not only will there be no fish to eat but the ecosystem may be irreversibly damaged.

The fish from streams and oceans has fatty acid that reduces triglycerides and increases our HOL or cholesterol. Fishes are full of minerals like copper and are without saturated fat and can be served with rice or steamed potatoes. The recipe for simple fish and fennel stew is given.

Radio boat angling in areas below a dam is an unethical practice that could wipe out trophy fisheries across the US. The unmanned boats are too effective at catching fish. The Missouri Dept of Conservation has established no-fishing zones below several dams to solve the problem.
