Fishing for bass is discussed with emphasis on techniques for catching them. After they have spawned the bass like to move daily, but they can be caught if the fisherman is prepared to move around and use a variety of baits.

Doodling for bass

Article Abstract:

Doodling is creating sound and movement with a worm on a hook. This technique requires practice, but when done properly, it can be highly effective in attracting largemouth and sometimes even smallmouth bass. Advice from expert anglers is given.

Spoon-jigging cold-water bass: join the ranks of the shivering but successful winter bass fishermen

Article Abstract:

Bass continue to feed in the winter, but they move at a slower pace and stay at a greater depth, making a jigging spoon the best lure for cold-water fishing. Frequently bass can be found around ledges and points in deep water, and experimentation with the jigging spoon may be necessary.
