Spoonful of protection: yogurt's bacteria beats infection, boosts immunity

Article Abstract:

Researchers discovered that women who consumed live active culture yogurt daily reduced their incidences of yeast infection. In addition, yogurt eaters experienced increased gamma interferon, which may boost the immune system. A recipe for making live active culture yogurt is included.

Feline Leukemia Virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus are two potentially lethal viruses. There is no cure for either virus, and both can devastate a cat's immune system. The best measure is preventing exposure by keeping cats indoors.
