Stealing time: in possibly his last season in Oakland, Rickey Henderson is demanding respect from the A's

Rickey Henderson of the Oakland Athletics is the all-time leading base stealer, even though at age 34 his playing time and number of bases stolen have been decreasing. Henderson signed a four-year, $12 million contract in 1989, but has watched many salaries exceed his since then.
