Talk therapy-- or type therapy?

Article Abstract:

E-therapy, an alternative to the traditional in-person treatment, which can deliver equally effective therapy via telephone, e-mail, video tele-conferencing, Web sites, or text messaging, is increasingly gaining acceptance from patients. A wide range of people in need of therapy accept or even prefer e-therapy to in-person therapy for the convenience and privacy it offers.

Going for a trial session with the therapist, creating a plan of action, working in tandem, checking for the progress are the steps involved for therapeutic treatment. A therapist could be psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker or personal counselor.
