Target: turkey

Article Abstract:

The Fourth Annual World Still-Target Championship is a competition in which turkey hunters can demonstrate their prowess. The equipment used in the competition included Winchester's High Velocity turkey load, choke tubes, sights and Mossberg guns. Shooting techniques are described.

The 50-yard turkey gun

Advice on using a 50-yard rifle-like turkey gun is offered. The loads and chokes are examined and its efficacy as a method of killing turkeys at ranges of 35-50 yards is evaluated.
