Tennis Magazine's guide to grips

Article Abstract:

The kind of forehand grip dictates the type of return. A Western or a semi-Western grip on the handle puts more control over the spin of the return. The Eastern grip puts more control on the power of the return. The Continental grip combines the feature of the aforementioned grips to vary the power and spin of the return.

There are several ways for tennis players to improve their game. Knowledge of the things that one's model in tennis can teach is very helpful. Knowing one's vulnerable areas is needed to eliminate them. It is also helpful to maximize one's strengths in practice.
