The effects of calf-muscle fatigue on sagittal-plane joint-position sense in the ankle

Article Abstract:

The effects of fatigue on joint-position sense (JPS) for ankle plantar flexion (PF) and dorsiflexion (DF) are examined. The results showed that there was no significant main effect for condition, measurement, or interaction between condition and measurement and the main controller of conscious JPS of the lower extremity is the tibialis anterior.
