Sixty-two boats participate in a rare west-to-east transatlantic race starting from Rhode Island, to face the best and worst of the North Atlantic, en route to Germany. Professionals in search of record times and the rough off season weather combined with a rough stretch of Gulf Stream sets the stage for blistering speeds and distance runs.
