The respiratory time and flow profile at volitional exercise termination

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to assess the effect on the respiratory cycle after performance of certain exercises. The results recorded the relation between the inspiratory and expiratory process relevant to dyspnea and fatigue experienced by participants.

Gross cycling efficiency is not altered with and without toe-clips

Article Abstract:

The study examined the effect of the submaximal oxygen consumption on the overall efficiency during cycling in pedals fitted with toe-clips and straps compared to plain pedals. The type of pedals did not affect the oxygen consumption.

Comparison of two Actigraph models for assessing free-living physical activity in Indian adolescents

Article Abstract:

A study assessed the relevance of physical activity to obesity among Indian adolescents using the Actigraph. After comparing the readings with the discontinued Model 7164, differences were found.
