Water lifters

Article Abstract:

Water-lift or water lock engine exhaust systems on boats usually work faultlessly but sometimes they may develop problems that can lead to serious engine trouble. Many sailboat engines are placed near the normal waterline and if additional water finds its way into the exhaust system, it causes cause engine corrosion and may prove fatal, and so precautions like proper siphon vents and inclination need to be taken against exhaust related disasters.
