What's in a whistle?

Article Abstract:

Queries regarding the reason for a horse's aggressive behavior prompted by the neighbor's recording of dog training whistles are presented. It is suggested that like dogs, horses hear higher frequency sounds than humans and it is possible that the noise is affecting their behavior, hence the solution to it is to negotiate with the neighbors to stop playing the tapes.

Article Abstract:

Aging impacts the behavior of older horses and some tips that can slow an older horse' s decline and keep the horse comfortable is presented. Veterinary medicine has increased the longevity of all companion animals but with increased longevity horses will inevitably experience the behavioral effects of aging.
