Winning a food fight

Article Abstract:

Many cyclists often fail to implement nutritional resolutions because some of the resolutions are unrealistic and too general. Resolutions should be specific and realistic, such as lessening fat intake by eating pretzels instead of chips. Ten nutritional resolutions for cyclists are presented.

Article Abstract:

A proper diet is an important factor in preparing for a 100-mile bicycle trek. During and after training, a cyclist should take in food that will replenish lost energy. During the ride, a cyclist must drink water or sports drink every 10 minutes and eat the first snack one hour into the ride.
