The Charger 40 is an electric boat powered by two banks of Trojan batteries that supply an Advanced d.c. motor. Maximum range on battery power at a speed of 6 knots is 50 nautical miles. A diesel genset with 18 gal of fuel extends the range to 300 nm. The price is $249,000.
