Arnold Palmer's eight tournament victories in 1960, along with the style and flare he displayed in winning them, turned him into a national sporting hero. Palmer won the Masters and US Open, finished second in the British Open, set a record for prize earnings, and won Player of the Year honors.

King Carl: foggy gets clear

Article Abstract:

Fogarty has become the first man to win the World Superbike Championship three times after he edged out Troy Corser in the Sugo, Japan, race. The 32-year-old Englishman won the championship two times in a row in 1994 and 1995 where he used a Ducati. He lost the title when he returned to Honda.
