Ship repairers in Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania are capturing a growing share of the Mediterranean market. Gemak, one of the largest shiprepair yards in Tuzla, Turkey reports increased dock occupancy. Bourgas Shipyards of is reporting growing orders from Bulgaria, Greece and Russia. Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries, a Romanian joint venture, is venturing into the international market with its newbuilding and repair services.
