Case studies of occupational falls from heights: cognition and behavior in context

Article Abstract:

The study conducted to examine individual workers cognitive, behavioral, and motivational processes leading up to occupational falls from heights, is discussed. Two cases, how cognition and behavior in context progresses from a lesser to a greater active role in the incident processes is highlighted.

The study conducted to examine the Psychological mediators of injury among youths in agricultural settings. The importance of assessing dangerous risk-taking perceptions when attempting to predict future injuries is emphasized.

Have young workers more injuries than older ones? An international literature review

Article Abstract:

Studies of nonfatal and fatal injuries were conducted. Results showed that injuries to young workers were less fatal than to older workers.
