A description on the grounding of Kent Reliant on 18 September 2003 at the San Juan Harbor entrance that is considered dangerous for vessels that erringly enter its approaches is presented. The Form Salvage contract was awarded to Titan Maritime that carried out rescue operations and mobilised the salvage team.

New Spanish research vessels get Kongsberg and Simrad equipment

Simrad Spain SL, shipping industry giant has signed on an agreement with M.Cies Shipyards, for the supply of navigation and hydro acoustic equipment to two fishery research vessels in Vigo. These fishery research vessels belongs to Spanish Fishery Ministry.
