Cheltenham spa takes on the big boys

The Chapel Spa in Cheltenham has opened following a delay of almost a year. The 1 million pounds sterling day spa and gym was the brainchild of Mitch and Tina Powis. The spa has eight treatment rooms, featuring Elemis products and treatments, a steamroom, rasul chamber, yoga studio, gym and hydropool.

Expansion for energie fitness

Jan Spaticchia, a health and fitness entrepreneur, will open clubs in the UK in 2003 under the energie fitness brand with partner Peter Sage. The two partners have purchased four HiLife clubs, which were the chain managed by Spaticchia until early-2002.
