Death of the superclubs?

Article Abstract:

Four industry leaders give their opinions on the future of superclubs, which the national press has declared as being dead. In the 1990s superclubs were very popular and soon branched out into offering merchandise, with many becoming affiliated with record labels, going on world tours and launching their own CDs.

Thousands of health clubs were competing for their business but only 18 per cent of the UK's population exercised regularly. Pilates, weight loss centres, GP referrals and corporates were visited to get details of the latest health club trends.

The outcome of the seventh national UK Cinema Industry Conference is discussed. The cinema industry is predicted to see a good year in 2004 as compared to the bleak previous year. The ways to attract more cinema viewers are discussed.
