Dubai dreaming

Article Abstract:

Dubai is going in for a complete makeover with man-made island resorts and underwater hotels among other attractions to lure the well-heeled tourist. Dubai festival city, a city within a city is taking shape around two kilometers from central Dubai and there is the Palm at Jumeirah, a man-made island encircled by an embankment, will have artificial beaches, hotels, apartments and villas many of which have already been sold to some of the richest people in the world.

Rimba, a holistic resort comprising of exclusive wildlife sanctuary, dining and shopping will be opened in October 2004. The very first of its kind, it will allow visitors to tour the park and enjoy dinner with jaguars and other such animals, separated from them by a sheet of glass.
