The Candadian food service industry has grown by 5.6% in 2006, with total sales of C$51.4 billion as reported by the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservice Association (CRFA). The CRFA lists the industry's top 100 companies and the top five pizza chains, burger chains, coffee chains, among others, are presented.

Article Abstract:

The success of microbreweries in Canada is discussed. It is estimated that the entire microbrew market share is at around 5% of Canadian beer consumption. The establishment of microbreweries in the country such as Halifax's Propeller Brewing Company and Les Brasseurs du Nord, is also tackled.
