From beaches to mountains and cities

Article Abstract:

Visitors to India can enjoy a host of attractions in the capital Delhi alone. These include the Purana Quila fort, La Quila fort, the buildings of the British Raj, the Chandni Chowk bazaar, and the Qutb Minar Pillar. Outside Delhi, Agra, Rajasthan, and Varanasi also offer a variety of historic monuments. The Indian Himalayas are great for trekking, while Goa, Kerala and the South offer wonderful beaches.

Governments coming round to European way of thinking

Article Abstract:

Individual European governments are still sceptical about the commercial viability of the European Commission's transport policy. This was highlighted when European Union transport ministers failed to give permission to transport commissioner Neil Kinnock to negotiate a pan-European airline treaty with the US. National governments still wish to retain the right to negotiate individual deals with the US.

Beaches are ideal add-on to the big Thai attractions

Article Abstract:

Holidays to urban centres in Thailand can be supplemented by trips to the beaches and islands in the south. Resorts such as Samui island and Phuket can be reached easily. Mid-market hotels are taking over from bungalow-resorts on Samui, as more and more holidaymakers with lots of money to spend fly in from Asia and Europe.
