Planning pitch

Article Abstract:

Hockey clubs applying for planning permission to lay an artificial pitch and install floodlights face a complex procedure. Professional consultants can advise on the presentation of a plan which gives details on landscaping, floodlighting and restricting light spillage in a manner which clarifies the plan to both local authority and local residents. Local objectors can often provide councillors with a reason to reject the plans, so expert planning is vital.
