Teotihuacan Archaeological site in San Juan Teotihuacan, Mexico, Bodie State Historic Park in Mono County, Bridgeport, CA, Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado and the Old Iron Bridge in St Catherine, Jamaica are among North America's endangered sites. Measures are being taken to save them.

100 most endangered sites: South America

Article Abstract:

The Rio Lauca prehistoric burial towers located in Sajama and Atahualpa provinces in Bolivia are among South America's most endangered sites. Restoration of these irreplaceable monuments depend on a combination of financial and human resources.
