A personal narrative is presented of the city of Houston in Texas, United States. Now the fourth largest city in the country, it was developed around the oil industry and the cultural and intellectual interests of the early oilmen are still evident in the city.

Texas fun in fiesta town; pick an ordinary day, and San Antonio will happily turn it into a party

Article Abstract:

San Antonio, TX, manifests its Latin influence in its fondness for revelry. 'Celebrate everything' would be an apt motto for the city since its residents do not need much of an excuse to throw a party. San Antonio's many attractions are cited.
