A touch of glass

Article Abstract:

The glassmaking workshops sponsored every summer by the Museum and Studio of Glass at Sars-Poteries in France offer artists, who use glass as a medium, the chance to hone their craft. Participants can choose from a variety of workshops that include mastering the art of glassblowing.

A traveler recounts two festival events in Macon, GA. The Picnic and Pops festival offered big band music to listeners sprawled on the lawn of Coleman Hill, while the Fifties and Sixties Dance featured rock 'n' roll music.
