Alexandra technique

Article Abstract:

The issues relating to the Alexandra Road social housing development in Camden, London, were used by a speaker at the Salaried Architects' Group (SAG) 'Social housing - a specific example in changing circumstances' seminar to absolve architects from blame for the problems associated with high density social housing. The scheme's failure was due to neglect by the council, as the houses themselves still remain popular with residents.
