The criteria used by the Air Travelers Assn is based on the ratio of fatal accidents to the total number of flights, which can produce skewed results if the number of flights is low. Large airlines that had more accidents received higher ratings than small airlines that had one accident.

The rates charged by telephone companies for calling card phone calls vary greatly by issuer. Typically, the larger companies charge more than smaller companies for calling card calls. The services of 18 calling cards are compared to help determine what card is best for individual needs.
