President of the American Red Cross Society, Marsha Evans, talks about what she has learnt about peoples preparedness to face a terrorist attack even as she goes about doing her job of making sure people are ready when terror strikes. Marsha feels that if the Red Cross does not provide disaster support, they would not get a second chance to prove themselves. She also prides herself at having built a good supporting network.

Article Abstract:

Urbina, a United States District Court judge became the first Hispanic judge to serve in DC when President Reagan nominated him to the DC Superior Court in 1981. His philosophy is to try to write each decision so that not only the lawyers but also the litigants can understand his thinking and laypeople should be able to read, understand and conclude whether they agree or disagree how he decided the case.

He is the author of several books, including 'Dictionary of Cultural Literacy.' In an interview he discusses America's view of science, the brain, artificial intelligence, molecular biology, and science in general.
