Ronald Kirby is the director of transportation planning for the Washington's council of Government. He plans to build hot lanes on the Beltway near Springfield going around to Tysons Corner that would give commuters the option to pay to Tysons without congestion and help buses by providing a congestion-free trip for mass transit commuters.

Thelma Edwards, the first local woman to get real estate license in Washington in 1940's, single-handedly developed most of the high-rises in the village of Friendship Heights in Montgomery County. She discusses her plan of developing the Gieco land with 500 townhouses in Friendship Heights and a new shopping center, which the county has permitted, and Chevy Chase Land Company is well under way with the Collection, a shopping center for high-end retailers.
