Article Abstract:

Katherine Kuh, the Art Institute of Chicago's first curator of modern painting and sculpture, credited with a vision that brought some of the most famous pieces of the mid-20th century into the museum's collection, narrates her fascinating life story in a new memoir 'My Love Affair with Modren Art' that is out now, more than a decade after her death. The book provides a telescopic view into the inner sanctum of the often enigmatic art world.
