The new materials and technology being used in the world of fiberglass boatbuilding is studied. The Revenge LT, a 35-foot center console is the world's first boat to have a cored hull made of gel coated, oven-cured, epoxy pre-preg the ultimate in cutting-edge boatbuilding.

Generators, used to power cockpit lights, electric reels and other equipment without having to rely on boat's primary electrical system or batteries, are becoming an important part of fishing boats. Marine gensets available in gas and diesel models are described.
