The Temple Bar section of Dublin, Ireland, is a lively neighborhood, and the reopening of the Clarence hotel under new owners who are members of the rock band U2, has helped the area's revitalization. The area has galleries, unique shops and a variety of entertainment.

Dublin Riviera is covered with beautiful seashores and beaches for one to grub in with swimming holes, fishing net and collecting jar. The best places that attract visitors are Glendalough's marvelous monastery and Enniskerry's farmhouses surrounded with greenery.

A visit to the 1998 Wexford opera festival in Ireland is described. The festival has a reputation for presenting works than are unjustly neglected. The 1998 productions were 'Fosca,' 'I Cavalieri de Ekebu' and 'Sarlatan.'
