Enthralled by an early morning boat ride on the Ganges
Article Abstract:
Experiences on riding a boat on the Ganges River, which provided a glimpse of life along the river, are presented. The boat ride, which is the main part of a Varanasi tour, offered a view of the Ganges' ghats and the sacred practices observed by the people of Varanasi. The religious and social activities one can observed along the Ganges River are described.
