Marshall Sahlins, the famous Chicago anthropologist, is reported to have turned his attention to the job of publishing crisp, pungent pamphlets called Prickly Paradigm Press. He reasons that people prefer books as instruments of continuous debate on accepted wisdom, and that controversies and intellectual unrest can best be encapsulated in pamphlets.
