Gator aid: if you're seeking action with true trophy trout, follow the lead of these two Florida pros

Article Abstract:

The word Gator is commonly used to describe an unusually large spotted seatrout, although exact qualifications are hard to find out. The place that produces more fish over ten pounds than anywhere else is the central east coast of Florida, especially the Stuart-Ft, Pierce area and the existing IGFA all-tackle record of 17 pounds, seven ounces was caught near Ft, Pierce in 1995.

Short term-changes in water temperature affect the behaviors of different fish species. Therefore anglers need to have good knowledge of the temperatures of the water in which they go for fishing. A list of different species of fish available in the United States, and are compatible to certain degrees of temperatures, is presented.
