Antarctica would not seem to be a tourist destination, but many people are visiting the area for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Antarctica has no permanent human inhabitants. Visitors usually see the area by boat.

Getting to the Galapagos

Article Abstract:

The Galapagos Islands can be seen in one day since the area is so small. A shore excursion to the island on board the 'Santa Cruz' is described. The boat was crowded, but it was a worthwhile trip.
