The hotel rating system for luxury hotels is analyzed, in view of claims of six-star hotels in newspapers, websites and magazines and the amenities available there . The media and guests are to blame for this trend since ratings such as six-star and seven-star do not exist in any rating system. The marketing strategy of the hotels is also a factor, which led to hype in the rating.
