Haiti has experienced a drop in tourism due to political conflicts and growing health problems, but the island retains many of its attractive characteristics. Despite poverty and political repression, the people of Haiti remain spirited.

Hawaii is the biggest island in the Hawaiian chain and home of Mauna Kea, the highest mountain in the world as measured from the ocean floor. Hawaii is also the southern-most point in the US. Travel tips for the island are given.
