Has this man figured out how to win the war on cancer?

Article Abstract:

Dr. Samuel Epstein has criticized the American Cancer Society and the National Cancer Institute for leading Americans to believe that the war on cancer is being won. Epstein says that the establishment's focus on diagnosis and treatment shortchanges research and communication about prevention. He further claims that the pharmaceutical industry has a vested interest in government and charitable dollars being directed toward treatment rather than prevention.
