How to beat the new sky-high fares

Article Abstract:

The rise in international airfares, the advantages and disadvantages of different ticket booking sources in getting the lowest fares are discussed. Conde Nast Traveler analyzed different sources viz., web, travel agents and airlines for this purpose. The best strategy is to start with one or two search engines and then compare results with big online agencies and then check the carrier's own web site.

The crisis in the skies above America is described as it is revealed there are too many aircraft for the controllers to handle safely. However new technology is discussed which will use the Global Positioning System to determine aircrafts' positions.
