Hunting the burn

Moose hunting is a fulfilling sport since it involves careful tracking of the animal. The experience is also worthwhile due to the time spent in the outdoors, where hunters can also hunt small game for their dinners while waiting for signs of moose.

Hauling, butchering and packing a 1600-pound moose is very hard work, but moose hunters enjoy the benefits of storing meat for the winter as well as the spiritual satisfaction of being in the wilderness. Moose hunting and butchering are discussed.
