International Crime Victims Survey: gun control benefits the criminals

Article Abstract:

The 2000 International Crime Victims Survey, published by the Dutch Ministry of Justice, reveals that many countries that have strict gun control regulations have higher crime rates than the United States. According to the National Rifle Association of America, analysts conclude from the results of the survey that guns do not cause crime.

A view of the confirmation hearing for the appointment of Attorney General John Ashcroft is presented from the perspective of the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA feels that Handgun Control Inc., a group opposed to the appointment, is in the wrong.

Standing guard

Article Abstract:

The result of the 2000 political campaign has shown that the country is divided and despite Republican George W. Bush's success, gun legislation is still a threat. The National Rifle Association is unified and must remain so to combat these threats.
