For many years, the downtown area of Los Angeles was not a popular destination for many tourists and area residents. The efforts put into improving this area and the revitalization project has seen the construction of a museum, library and a sports and concert arena and has attracted the attention of restaurateurs who have flocked downtown to open their eateries. Some of these restaurants include, Latin-flavored Ciudad, seafood restaurant the Water Grill and Patina bistro.
